Save the date!

I am thrilled to announce a UK cinema premiere and limited UK cinema run for Changing Tides and Prefer to Sip Tea.

Dates for your diary:

· Saturday 23 September at 8pm *UK premiere* - The Regent Cinema, Blackpool

· Sunday 8 October at 12pm – Cultplex Cinema, Manchester

· Thursday 19 October at 8pm – ArtHouse Cinema, London

General tickets will go on sale on 1 September.

We're showing four short films back-to-back followed by a filmmaker's Q&A. You’ll get to watch two Out of the Ark Productions followed by two House of Tales and Out of the Ark Productions films.

We're calling the event 'Made in Blackpool' because that's where most of the cast and crew come from and where all the films were made.

About the films (in order from first to last):

Close your eyes. What do you see? You may think you see black, but you don’t. What you see is Eigengrau.

A group of friends attempt to unravel the mysteries of the phenomenon that is visual noise, and the dire consequences of their exploration lead them into the dark unknown.

"Best Indie Short Film" New York Film Awards 2023 "Best Edit" Athens International Film Festival 2022 "Best Director" London Movie Awards 2022 "Best Thriller" Bridge Fest 2022 "Runner Up - Best Thriller" - Hollywood Gold Awards 2022 Finalists - Canadian Cinematography Awards 2022

Written and directed by Christopher C Arkley, Out of the Ark

Building upon the success of its award-winning predecessor, "Eigengrau," this new instalment takes audiences on a gripping and thought-provoking journey that delves even deeper into the unknown and explores the profound consequences of meddling with darkness.

Written and directed by Christopher C Arkley, Out of the Ark

A film about PTSD and not knowing what people are going through on a daily basis.

Set in an office with an important presentation looming, a manager she doesn't get along with and a flirtatious male colleague who doesn't realise the effects of his actions, Ellie has to hide her exhaustion and anxiety from the trauma she relives when she closes her eyes to sleep.

Written by Kathryn Georghiou, House of Tales

Directed by Christopher C Arkley, Out of the Ark, and Kathryn Georghiou, House of Tales

You all know plenty about this film and are a huge part in getting it made!

Q&A with the filmmakers

Each week we will share more details about the films and how to buy tickets.
