In this house, we tell tales.
The ones you’ve experienced. The ones you’ve heard about. The secret stories you’re too scared to share.
This is House of Tales.
A film company for silenced voices.
Based in London but with roots in Blackpool, House of Tales is founded by Kathryn Georghiou.
Kathryn knew what she wanted to do from a very early age.
At eight years old, her first acting gig was at Lowther Pavilion, Lytham, and her directorial debut was co-directing a school production, Mad as a Hatter, when she was 15. Since then, she’s graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on a full scholarship, been awarded an MA with Distinction in Creative Writing, co-owned a theatre and entertainment company, performed on film, TV and stage, and even managed to be successful in business.
Her life hasn’t always been easy and to make sense of it all she would lose herself in stories. Now she wants to help others do the same.
Her passion is slice of life relatable dramas that tell stories people are sometimes too afraid to share.
